Oiling's drums drive the sax and organ riffs while fender bass and guitar add extra rhythm to the proceedings.
Its repetitive riffs and percussion become almost cyclical and hypnotic while slight variations keep pulling you in.
I particularly liked the interplay between Petrucci's solid riff mid-section and Rudess ' Hammond organ improvisation in the gaps between the riffs.
The revelation here is the guitar interplay with some good riffs making them worth catching.
It's full of great, memorable hooks, powerful choruses and dynamic riffs, whilst still reeking of pure malevolence.
