Police Lives Matter Definition
A phrase used to counter against "black lives matter " (rally call, political and social movement); which emphasizes examination of police violence against African-Americans; by rallying people to defend police officers whose lives are at risk due to the nature of their jobs, and justify some level of police violence in carrying out their duties, such as using (lethal) force when they fear the potential of violence against police (fear for their lives).
