Be active in the troop for at least six months after completing Life Scout rank within the organization.
While holding the Life Scout rank, serve actively within the troop as a patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader or in another authority position.
Earn a total of 21 merit badges, which is ten more than the requirements for Life Scout.
