A proton pump inhibitor drug, C17 H19 N3 O3 S, used in the form of its magnesium salt, that suppresses gastric acid secretion and is used for the treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is a stereoisomer of omeprazole.
