Origin of Constructal

  • Coined in 1996 by Adrian Bejan, based on the Latin verb construere, which means to construct. The Constructal law accounts for the natural phenomenon of Construction: the natural tendency toward flow configurations (constructs, designs) that flow more and more easily.
